Los Angeles Insurance Bad Faith Lawyer Scott Glovsky Honored with California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Award
By Scott Glovsky on March 3rd, 2015 in Awards
Los Angeles insurance bad faith lawyer Scott Glovsky is a recipient of the 2015 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year, or CLAY Award. California Lawyer magazine selects attorneys who have made a significant impact on the legal community and society to appear in the March 2015 issue.
Scott was recognized for his work on behalf of thousands of children living with autism who were wrongfully denied coverage for essential therapies by their insurance companies. The two cases resulted in policy changes that secured the rights of California children with Autism Spectrum Disorders to seek applied behavioral analysis and speech therapy from Kaiser Permanente and Anthem Blue Cross of California as well as millions of dollars for autism services and research at UCLA and UCSF.
“It is humbling to be included among the other honorees, all of whom have done outstanding and meaningful work,” Scott said. “While I am grateful for this award, I feel more honored that we were able to make a positive impact on children’s lives.”
